CAUTIONS: DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE if you have had an allergic reaction to it or are allergic to any ingredient in this product. DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED dose or use this medicine for longer than prescribed. Laboratory and/or medical tests, including electrocardiograms (ECGs), blood electrolyte levels, and blood pressure checks may be done to monitor your progress or to check for side effects. KEEP ALL DOCTOR AND LABORATORY APPOINTMENTS while you are using this medicine. BEFORE YOU HAVE ANY MEDICAL OR DENTAL TREATMENTS, EMERGENCY CARE, OR SURGERY, tell the doctor or dentist that you are using this medicine. THIS MEDICINE MAY REDUCE THE NUMBER OF BLOOD CELLS THAT ARE NEEDED FOR CLOTTING. To prevent bleeding, avoid situations where bruising or injury may occur. THIS MEDICINE MAY LOWER YOUR BODY'S ABILITY TO FIGHT INFECTION. Prevent infection by avoiding contact with people with colds or other infections. Notify your doctor of any signs of infection, including fever, sore throat, rash, or chills. BEFORE YOU BEGIN TAKING ANY NEW MEDICINE, either prescription or over-the-counter, check with your doctor or pharmacist. CONTRACEPTION: Men and women should use effective birth control during treatment and for at least 2 weeks after stopping treatment. FOR WOMEN: THIS MEDICINE MAY CAUSE HARM TO THE FETUS. Avoid becoming pregnant while you are taking it and for at least 2 weeks after treatment is complete. IF YOU THINK YOU MAY BE PREGNANT, discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using this medicine during pregnancy. IT IS UNKNOWN IF THIS MEDICINE IS EXCRETED in breast milk. DO NOT BREAST-FEED while taking this medicine.
