Gastric outlet obstruction may also be called GOO. This is the narrowing or blocking of the opening between the stomach and the small bowel. Normally, food passes easily from the stomach to the small bowel. With GOO, something is blocking the opening and this leads to signs like stomach pain and throwing up. You may need surgery to fix this problem.
