This medication is applied to the skin in order to treat various fungal infections of the skin, including athlete's foot, jock itch, and ringworm.
Naftin is only available as a topical cream in either 1% or 2% doses. A thin layer of medication is applied to clean, dry skin at the affected area and 0.5 inches around it once daily for two weeks.
