For treating the flu, Xofluza should be taken as soon as possible and within 48 hours of your symptoms starting. For preventing the flu, Xofluza can also be taken if you’ve come into contact with someone else who has the flu.

Xofluza can be taken with or without food. But you should not take Xofluza with milk, antacids, and certain laxatives. You should also not take it with certain oral supplements that contain calcium, magnesium, iron, selenium, or zinc.
