testosterone
(Testim)

Testosterone is a steroid hormone used by humans and other animals. Some men and women are affected by a lack of testosterone essential to their growth and well-being. In these cases, they may require a supplement to balance hormone levels. If you need a supplement as directed by a doctor and want to save money on the price of testosterone, you can search our database of pharmacies near you and download one of our handy testosterone coupons. Find the lowest price at a pharmacy near you, then either print your testosterone drug coupons or have them sent to you via email or SMS (text message). Use your testosterone coupons as many times as you like – they are usable every time you go to fill your prescription.

A testosterone prescription may be issued to address several conditions. Among them are treatment of hypogonadism; menorrhagia; breast cancer in women; and cryptorchism; It is also prescribed as a low testosterone medication for hormone replacement therapy in men; for improving fertility; treating erectile dysfunction; as a growth stimulant; or to reverse the effects of anemia. Testosterone creams or gels may also be used to treat low libido levels in women and for the treatment of osteoporosis.

Testosterone as a drug can be injected, applied as an oral patch, or applied topically, where it is absorbed into the body. Testosterone pills are not a typical form of delivery for testosterone. Injections begin with two initial treatments within 4 weeks of one another, then additional treatments every 10 weeks as needed. Certain types of injections are administered every 2-4 weeks. Oral patches are applied twice daily, one in the morning and one in the evening. Topical gels are applied 5 g at a time once daily.

Tell your doctor if: you have, or have had, prostate cancer or an enlarged prostate or if there is a family history of these illnesses and conditions; you have been diagnosed with, or suspect you have, sleep apnea; you have, or have had, diabetes or kidney, heart, lung, or liver disease; you have or have had breast cancer. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or are nursing a child. If you become pregnant while taking a testosterone prescription, or have physical contact with someone who is taking it as a low dose testosterone medication, contact your physician immediately.
