Taclonex is available as a topical ointment as well as a liquid suspension. When using as an ointment, apply once daily, with the maximum weekly dosage not exceeding 100g. With the suspension, the same weekly dosage limits apply.

Before taking this medication, tell your doctor if you have high levels of calcium in your blood, a history of kidney stones, liver or kidney disease, severe forms of psoriasis, a skin infection, or if you are receiving UV light treatments. Also, tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
