Prevacid SoluTab is an orally disintegrating tablet. It is available in 15 and 30 mg dosages. This tablet is meant to dissolve in the mouth without chewing, but you may use liquid to help swallow the tablet.
If you take sucralfate (Carafate), avoid taking it at the same you’re taking Prevacid SoluTab. Wait at least 30 minutes after taking your Prevacid SoluTab before taking Carafate. This medication can cause diarrhea, which may be the sign of infection. Call your doctor if you have watery or bloody diarrhea.
