Lipofen is available in a capsule, in 50mg and 150mg dosages. It is often taken with food to help better absorb the medication. It must be used regularly to get the most benefit. Follow your doctor’s dosing instructions closely.
Don’t take Lipofen if you have liver disease, gallbladder disease, severe kidney disease, or if you are on dialysis. You should not breastfeed while taking this medication.
