Use your Optum Perks discount card at pharmacies nationwide, from the large chains to small independent pharmacies.
If you get debilitating migraines, your doctor may prescribe Frova. Unfortunately, this triptan drug can be expensive. If you’re uninsured or underinsured and are concerned about the cost of Frova, use Optum Perks to save money. Start by entering your zip code to search for the pharmacies with the lowest Frova prices in your area. Once you’ve found a pharmacy you like, click the ‘Get Free Coupon’ button to print or download a reusable Frova coupon. Bring this coupon to your pharmacy of choice to get a discount on the Frova price every time you fill your prescription.
Frova helps alleviate migraines with or without aura. It does not stop future migraines or reduce the number of migraine attacks that occur.
Frova comes in dose packs containing nine tablets of 2.5mg each. Take a tablet with or without food at the first sign of a migraine. If your migraine doesn’t go away completely or goes away but comes back, you can take another dose two hours after the first one. Don’t take more than three doses in one day.
Take Frova exactly as prescribed by your doctor; overusing migraine medications can lead to medication overuse headaches. Frova may make you temporarily drowsy or dizzy, so don’t drive or perform other tasks that require clear focus until you know how the medication affects you. Don’t take any other migraine medications within 24 hours of taking Frova. Don’t take Frova if you have uncontrolled high blood pressure, a history of heart problems, a blood vessel disorder or circulation problem, or headaches that feel different than migraine headaches. Tell your doctor about your medical history and all medications you are taking to make sure Frova is safe for you.
