Flovent HFA is offered as an inhaler, and comes in various amounts, from 44mcg to 220mcg. The general dosage is 88-880mcg twice daily, morning and evening for adults and children 12 years and older.
Before using Flovent HFA, tell your doctor if you have a bacterial or viral infection, a parasitic infection, tuberculosis, herpes infection of the eyes, glaucoma or cataracts, liver diseases, low bone mineral density, or a weak immune system. Using steroids for a long time can cause osteoporosis.
