diclegis

Diclegis is a delayed-release drug that helps treat nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. This morning sickness medication can be somewhat expensive, especially if it isn’t covered by your insurance or you have a high copay. To make sure you’re getting the best Diclegis price available, enter the details of your prescription in our search tool and compare local pharmacy costs. Once you’ve found the pharmacy with the best Diclegis cost, claim a free coupon for additional savings. You can even use this coupon for a Diclegis discount on more than one prescription fill.

Diclegis is used to relieve morning sickness (nausea and vomiting associated with pregnancy) when non-medication treatment hasn’t been effective. It’s the only FDA-approved prescription drug intended for the treatment of nausea and vomiting during pregnancy.

Diclegis comes in a tablet containing 10mg of doxylamine and 10mg of pyridoxine. It isn’t available in any other strengths or forms. Follow your doctor’s dosing instructions carefully. You may need to start by taking two tablets before bed in the evening but may increase to three tablets (one in the morning and two in the evening) if your nausea and vomiting don't improve after a couple of days. Don’t take more than four tablets in one day.

Don’t take Diclegis if you’ve used an MAO inhibitor in the last 14 days or if you’re allergic to any antihistamines. This medication may cause drowsiness, so don’t drive or perform other tasks that require clear focus until you know how Diclegis affects you. Talk to your doctor before taking any over-the-counter cold, allergy, or pain medications. Some medications may cause severe drowsiness when taken alongside Diclegis.
