Cancer happens when cells in the body start to grow out of control. Penis or penile cancer is an abnormal growth of cells in or on your penis. This cancer can happen anywhere on your penis, the shaft of the penis, the tip, or the foreskin. The most common type starts in the middle or outer layer of the skin and is called squamous cell cancer.
