This medicine is a potent corticosteroid used to treat moderate to severe forms of plaque psoriasis in adults. This medicine is used only for short periods of time. It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

CAUTIONS: DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE if you have had an allergic reaction to it or are allergic to any ingredient in this product. THIS MEDICINE is for external use only. Do not get it in your eyes, nose, mouth, on your lips, or in your vagina. If you get it in any of these areas, rinse immediately with cool water. Do not use this medicine on the face, groin, diaper area, or underarms. Do not use this medicine to treat rosacea or conditions around the mouth. Do not use this medicine to treat large areas of your body without first checking with your doctor. Do not use this medicine to treat other skin conditions at a later time. DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED DOSE, use more often than prescribed, or use for longer than prescribed without checking with your doctor. Doing so may increase your risk of side effects. If your symptoms do not improve within 2 weeks or if they get worse, check with your doctor. KEEP ALL DOCTOR AND LABORATORY APPOINTMENTS while you are using this medicine. BEFORE YOU HAVE ANY MEDICAL OR DENTAL TREATMENTS, emergency care, or surgery, tell the doctor or dentist that you are using this medicine. Do not use any other medicines or special cleansers on your skin unless your doctor instructs you otherwise. THIS MEDICINE is flammable. Do not store or use near an open flame or while smoking. BEFORE YOU BEGIN USING ANY NEW MEDICINE, either prescription or over-the-counter, check with your doctor or pharmacist. This includes medicines that contain corticosteroids (eg, hydrocortisone, prednisone). Check with your doctor before you receive a vaccine while using this medicine. FOR WOMEN: IF YOU BECOME PREGNANT, discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using this medicine during pregnancy. IT IS UNKNOWN IF THIS MEDICINE IS EXCRETED in breast milk. IF YOU ARE OR WILL BE BREAST-FEEDING while you are using this medicine, check with your doctor or pharmacist to discuss the risks to your baby.
