Atralin is prescribed to help treat the symptoms and conditions associated with acne and other skin conditions.
Atralin is a topical gel dispensed from a tube. It is typically applied to the affected area(s) once a day, usually at bedtime. However, the actual application regimen will be determined by the doctor and based on the patient’s medical profile.
Atralin is for external use only. Avoid prolonged or unnecessary exposure to sunlight. Your acne may worsen during the first seven to ten days of use, but your skin will improve within two to three weeks. Use only non-medicated cosmetics during treatment and avoid skin products containing alcohol, spices, menthol, and other irritants. Do not use other topical medications while using Atralin.
