Afeditab CR (controlled release) is a brand name version of the generic drug, Nifedipine. Afeditab CR can be used on its own or combined with other drugs, to treat high blood pressure, known as hypertension. By lowering high blood pressure, the risk of strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems can be lowered. Afeditab CR works by relaxing blood vessels, which enables blood to flow more easily.
